The TI9/3Z9DX team are now on their way to Cocos Island. They plan to be QRV from 16th of February approximately midnight local time. The team have a permit for 7 days, so “on air time” planned for 6 days only.

NØJ – TINIAN Hot Peppper Festival
Was actually waiting to see if K1N should come in on CW a last time before they leave Navassa Island, but seems to be NIL.
But enjoyed working NØJ – Mariana Island and the special event station from the TINIAN Hot Pepper Festival. Must be something with the “hot pepper” because the signal was really burning a path through the atmosphere. 599+40 signals and a really good operator.
K1N – Last chance
Getting closer to QRT from K1N, Navassa Island. The team will go QRT early morning on the 15th of February. To now they have almost 120.000 Q’s in the log 🙂
