IARU HF World Championship

The IARU HF World Championship is fast approaching.

To support amateur self-training in radiocommunications including improving amateur operating skills, conducting technical investigations, and intercommunicating with other amateurs around the world, especially IARU member society headquarters stations, using the 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10-meter bands.

Be there and look for SK9HQ! 🙂

I will use this callsign in contest (and some DX) to celebrate my way back from years of QRT. The QRT was forced to me from a series of strokes (2015/2016) that limited my possibilities to work CW (my only mode). If you have similar experience, feel free to contact me and we can exchange experience and some tips/tricks on how to recover from a stroke.

The prefix SD is short for Semper Deinceps, latin for Always Forward.
This describes that the only way for me is forward, to amateur radio as it once was for me.
The suffix V is short for Victory and describes that “I will be victorious over my strokes”.

See you in contest…
