IK0FVC, IK0PRG, S53R and S53T will be active from the Vatican during the CQ WW 160m SSB contest the upcoming weekend (27th of February – 1st of March). Outside the contest you can find them on low bands CW.

What’s up this weekend?
On my way to the shack to see what’s on the bands this weekend. Looks like there could be an interesting weekend with e.g. TI9/3Z9DX on the air. Also looking for my friend SM6CPY active from Rwanda with the call 9XØPY.
NASA | SDO: Year 5
February 11, 2015 marks five years in space for NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory, which provides incredibly detailed images of the whole sun 24 hours a day. In honor of SDO’s fifth anniversary, NASA has released a video showcasing highlights from the last five years of sun watching.
